Cardiff Freshers Tournament
Sunday, October 21st, 2007Dragons entered 2 teams into Cardiff University’s Freshers Tournament, with the aim of giving our new players a taste of what a proper match looks like. We were successful at this at least with Alison, Emily, Helena, Julia, Liz, Nathalie all playing their first ever games, and Steve his first match for Dragons. All did well, with several people managing to score their debut goals. Our teams finished 6th and 7th overall, out of 16, suffering through missing too many shots, despite some excellent defending.
