After Dragons impressive victory over our friendly rivals last year it was inevitable that City would be keen to get their revenge and this game was much closer and of a higher standard. A game which highlighted the growing strength in depth of korfball in Cardiff as both teams made a number of substitutions but still produced a match of high standard for a local league second team match. (more…)

Halloween Social will be held at Sian’s house, 7.30 on Friday 27th October before heading into town around 11.00. Fancy dress and Party games. 

Christmas Social will be held at Tiger Tiger, 7.30 on Friday 22nd December. Contact Helen for more details and to confirm that “yes, of course” you’re going. Then give her the money asap.

After a long close season, Dragons were raring to start the season – well except Josh, who turned up 45 minutes late. The opposition couldn’t have been tougher, as last year the two clubs finished with an identical points tally, with only the head to head results handing the league to the Dragons. (more…)

In the second team game, Cardiff Dragons got off to a confident start.  As Bristol City set up the first attack, the Welsh side held a strong defence.  After a decisive interception by Joey and some quick passing, Gwenno opened the scoring with a running in shot.
